PROCEDURE

Initially, there will be a consultation at Cornerstone Clinic, Dubai Marina, with our board-certified plastic surgeon. The surgeon will thoroughly evaluate your needs and discuss your goals for arm reshaping. The surgeon will assess your skin quality, the extent of excess skin, and your overall health to determine if brachioplasty is the right option for you.

The surgeon will make incisions on the underside of the upper arms. The length and location of the incisions will depend on the amount of excess skin. Subsequently, the doctor will remove excess skin and tighten the underlying tissues to create a more sculpted look, then close the incisions with sutures.

A full recovery will be expected a couple of weeks after the procedure, and a follow-up appointment will be scheduled to check the healing and the removal of the stitches.

The brachioplasty procedure is typically performed on an outpatient basis under general anaesthesia. The surgery takes approximately 2-3 hours, and most patients can return home on the same day. It is important to remember that strenuous activities should be avoided for 4 to 6 weeks after the operation, and any activity should be performed only after consultation with the surgeon.
