PRP Facial Rejuvenation is a new technique that helps to regenerate the facial

A PRP facial, also known as a vampire facial, utilises Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) derived from your own blood. PRP is a concentration of platelets rich in growth factors that stimulate collagen production, cell regeneration, and tissue repair. During the treatment, a small amount of blood is drawn, processed to isolate the PRP, and then strategically injected into the facial skin.
PRP treatment works by taking a small amount of your own blood, usually between (8-10 ml), which is then placed into a centrifuge and spun for 10 minutes. The blood is then separated into its different components, and the platelets are concentrated. This concentrate contains up to 9 times more platelets than your regular blood. The blood platelets activate the natural stem cells that exist in the facial tissues and stimulate skin cells to produce collagen and elastin, therefore rejuvenating the skin.
The treatment takes approximately 45 minutes. A topical anaesthetic cream will be applied to the facial area to numb and ease any pain during the treatment. Once the platelet concentrate is ready, the surgeon will inject the product directly into the face, concentrating on the most problematic areas.
The results of a PRP facial are typically noticeable within a few weeks and can last for 12 to 18 months. However, individual results may vary depending on factors like age, skin condition, and lifestyle habits. To maintain optimal results, repeat treatments every 12-18 months are recommended.
PRP can be a powerful complement to other anti-ageing treatments. It can offer even more comprehensive results when combined with Botox or dermal fillers. Botox addresses wrinkles caused by muscle movement, while PRP focuses on improving overall skin quality. Fillers plump up areas of volume loss, and PRP enhances the natural fullness of the skin.
PRP facials are generally safe and effective for individuals with various skin concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, uneven texture, and sun damage. However, it is not suitable for everyone. People with certain medical conditions, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and those with active skin infections are not ideal candidates.

We have to apply a numbing cream and will leave for 30 mins. While you have the numbing cream on, your blood will be collected to be centrifuged to separate the rich blood platelets and plasma. This will then be applied superficially to your face using a derma pen.
The whole treatment will take 1 hour to finish.
Your face will be red for few hours. You have to avoid direct sun exposure for the next
3 days. You have to apply sunscreen and moisturiser as often as required / needed.
This can be done every 6 months or every 3 months, depending on the recommendation of the doctor.
