What is Profhilo? Is it the same as Fillers? What is NCTF?

We often hear these 3 terms and use them interchangeably, but do we actually know their differences? Spoiler: these treatments offer distinct benefits for your skin and vary in primary goals, outcomes and invasiveness. This guide will help you understand the key differences between these popular aesthetic treatments and help you understand which one might be right for you.

PROFHILO

Profhilo is a skin booster made up of non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid (HA) used as a bio-remodelling treatment consisting of 10 small injections to the face, neck, décolleté and hands.

Goal: mainly focuses on skin hydration, rejuvenation and a slow build of collagen and elastin over time

Outcome: increase in collagen production, long-lasting hydration and smoother texture

Invasiveness: minimally invasive and the procedure is done in less than 30 minutes with no downtime

NCTF

NCTF stands fro New Cellular Treatment Formula, and it is a cocktail made up of hyaluronic acid, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and antioxidants used to address concerns such as hydration, firmness, and overall skin health.

Goal: regain a youthful and radiant complexion by stimulating collagen production and prevent moisture loss

Outcome: improved skin texture, tone and and overall more youthful appearance

Invasiveness: non-invasive with minimal downtime

FILLER

Fillers or dermal fillers are made with crosslink hyaluronic acid (HA) and are used to increase any lost volume to the face (chin, lips, under eye, cheeks).

Outcome: adds volume, reduces fine lines, and contours the face

Invasiveness: minimally invasive with immediate results and minimal downtime
