WHAT IS A BBL WITH FAT TRANSFER

BBL PROCEDURE

During your initial consultation at Cornerstone Clinic, Dubai Marina, our board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr Maurizio Viel, will carefully assess your anatomy and discuss the outcome. The BBL procedure typically takes 2-3 hours and is performed under general anaesthesia.

The surgical procedure entails:

Liposuction for Fat Harvesting: Using a gentle liposuction technique, a specific amount of fat is extracted from your chosen donor areas. This fat is typically sourced from areas with unwanted bulges, like the abdomen, flanks, or thighs.
Fat Processing: The harvested fat undergoes purification before being re-injected into the body.
Fat Transfer: The purified fat is then strategically injected into specific areas of the buttocks.

RECOVERY AFTER BBL SURGERY

Following the BBL procedure at Cornerstone Clinic, some swelling and discomfort are to be expected. However, our team will provide you with comprehensive aftercare instructions, such as wearing a compression garment, to ensure a smooth recovery. Wearing a compression garment for a period of time helps reduce swelling and supports the healing process.

Recovery typically takes 4-6 weeks. While most daily activities can resume within a few days, strenuous exercise should be avoided for a few weeks.
