Can I see the family doctor if I have hearing loss?

Yes, your family doctor can take a history and examine you for common hearing loss conditions such as impacted wax and middle and outer ear infections. These can be easily treated by them with a course of medications. If further investigations, such as hearing tests are required then your doctor can refer you to the appropriate specialist.

Can my doctor treat my chronic blocked nose?

There are many causes of a chronic blocked nose such as allergies and nasal polyps. Your doctor will be able todistinguish between them and treat your symptoms. If a specialist appointment is required your family doctor will refer you to one that will be the right fit for you.
