MINOR INJURIES

Adults and children often hurt themselves. It may be a cut, a burn, a fall

with possible broken bones or a head injury. I can treat most minor injuries,

suture or glue wounds and assess any head injuries. If I think that you

may have broken a bone I can organise an X-ray and advise whether

emergency treatment is required with an orthopaedic surgeon.

Re-dressing wounds and removing sutures can also be performed in the clinic and I can assess whether there are any signs of infection and treat accordingly.
