The most popular cosmetic procedure is breast augmentation surgery. When done correctly, it has a high patient satisfaction rate. Patients who wish to improve the size and fullness of their breasts and/or treat mild sagging can use this method. Breast enlargement surgery is usually chosen by women who have always had tiny breasts or who have lost breast volume after having children.
Over the past decade, the perception of breast enhancement surgery has evolved. Despite being a volume operation in the past, which involved increasing the breasts, this type of surgery is now also referred to as a reshaping process, where the size and shape of the breast must naturally fit the patient’s body type and proportions. Without crossing or damaging the breast’s natural limits, this technique aims to produce a more natural-looking breast.
An implant is positioned beneath the patient’s breast tissue to enlarge and shape the breast. The vast majority of implants in Dubai are made of silicone, while saline is an option. Implants can be placed immediately behind the breast (subglandular placement) or behind the breast and the chest wall/muscle (submuscular placement). Usually, an incision is made at the fold beneath the breast to place the implants, although it is also possible to make an incision in the armpit or around the nipple.
Breast augmentation surgery takes one to one and a half hours to do under general anaesthesia. The real process involves reaching and creating the pocket into which the implant will be put utilising one of the insertion channels, such as the nipple, armpit, or breast crease.
After the pocket is made, the implant is positioned and the incision wounds are sutured. You might be able to go home that same day, although often people just stay in the hospital for one night. These techniques make it simple to control post-operative discomfort. Since they will be mobile from day one, patients should resume full exercise within six weeks. In order to ensure adequate recovery, patients are advised to take approximately two weeks off work immediately following the treatment.
